Symrise Subsidiary SFA Neroli Opens New Perfume Campus in Grasse
Symrise subsidiary SFA Neroli opened its new perfume campus in Saint-Cézaire-Succiagne, near Grasse in southern France last week.
The newly opened facility covers an area of 10,000 square meters. Its goal is to consolidate the creative expertise generated by the recent merger of local perfume companies SFA Romani, Créations & Parfums and Floresence. Symrise acquired SFA Romani and Neroli in 2022 and established SFA Neroli.
"Our strength is our 300 team members from 12 countries who embody our values with passion, commitment, agility and a passion for excellence. I salute their outstanding contribution. This facility was born out of their dedication, creativity and collective engagement in the art of perfumery. Together, we have created a trusted, creative partner that our customers recognize and value," said Alexandrine Demachy, President of SFA Neroli.
The site currently consists of four buildings covering production, research and development, evaluation, supply chain management and various support functions. In addition, a new facility to house Lautier operations is under construction.
Combined with the 220-year-old history of Symrise's Maison Lautier 1795 perfumery and its proprietary Delaire 1876 fragrance base, the opening of the new facility will give rise to a unique fragrance creation ecosystem known as "Symrise South".
Jean-Yves Parisot, CEO of Symrise, said: “With the opening of our new plant, we take an important first step in our journey to consolidate and enhance our expertise and capabilities in Grasse. We are proud to return stronger than ever, with a dedicated team and state-of-the-art facilities to serve our customers even better.”
