Symrise launches neurobeauty-inspired Flowerconcentrole for mood-enhancing skin care

Symrise's Flowerconcentrole functional olfactory flower extract promotes health and wellness, according to the company.

Developed using Symrise's Actimood technology, which the company says is "a scientifically proven mood-activating fragrance design," Flowerconcentrole's neurobeautifying benefits harness botanical extracts to inspire positive emotions such as relaxation, happiness, protection, joy and freshness.

According to reports, skin care brands can use flower extracts to provide comprehensive care from a healthy sensory perspective. The launch of the range is in line with Mintel’s earlier Trends 2024 report, which states, the next chapter in health will be physical and mental beauty, where mental health and appearance are interconnected.

This natural technology is reportedly transparent to slightly opalescent liquids and is easy to use in any lotion or water-based formula. They can also mask the odor of beauty formula bases and provide antibacterial properties.

According to Symrise, the range of functional and biodegradable plant extracts are 100% natural, compliant with ISO 16128 standards and sustainably sourced from Madagascar, France and Bulgaria.
