Sweetener Now Available in Powder Form
MegaSweet can be individually tailored, and is suitable for a variety of products, including ice cream, breakfast cereals, tomato sauce, baked beans, biscuits and cakes, its maker claimed.
In some test cases, MegaSweet enabled a 30% reduction in a product’s sugar content, and in beverages a 50% cut in sugar could be achieved, Omega added.
“Since launching the liquid form earlier this year, we have been thrilled with the response from customers,” said Omega’s co-founder Steve Pearce.
