First National Vocational Skills Standards for Coal Industry were promulgated

The General Office of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security issued the Notice on the Promulgation of 16 National Vocational Skills Standards, such as Labor Relations Coordinator (No. 47 issued by the Department of Human Resources and Social Affairs). It approved the promulgation and implementation of three national vocational skills standards, namely, Underground Support Worker, Mine Rescue Worker and Compressor Operator, which were revised by the Coal Identification Center. At the same time, the original national vocational skill standards were abolished.

In order to standardize the practice of practitioners, guide the direction of vocational education and training, and provide the basis for vocational skill appraisal, the coal appraisal center carefully chooses the compiling units and experts of vocational skill standards. In the early stage, the coal appraisal center fully carried out occupational survey, surveyed enterprises, vocational and technical colleges, and grasped the information of occupational development, the number of employees and education level. Combining with the compilation of technical regulations for national vocational skill standards, the development trend of coal industry and the future career development of workers, the framework of standards is determined by discussing with standard compilation experts, so as to meet the needs of Vocational training, skill appraisal and human resource management.

In the revision of the national vocational skill standard, Datong Coal Mine Group Co., Ltd., Datun Coal and Electricity (Group) Co., Ltd., Ningbo Coal Group, Shendong Coal Group, Hongtoushan Mining Co., Ltd., Kailuan (Group) Co., Ltd., Shanxi Binchang Mining Co., Ltd., and Huangling Mining Co., Ltd. of Shaanxi Shaanxi Coal Mine were invited. Experts from leading enterprises and institutions inside and outside the industry, such as the Department of Mining, Shougang Mining Company, Hebei Iron and Steel Group Mining Co., Ltd., Yankuang Guohong Chemical Co., Ltd., China Coal Industry Association Training Center, China Coal Energy Group Co., Ltd., who understand technology and know how to manage, participated in the examination and approval of the standards. At the standard review meeting, the experts fully discussed and reviewed the standard word by word. The Vocational Skills Identification Center of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Vocational Skills Identification and Guidance Center of Chemical Industry, the Vocational Skills Identification and Guidance Center of Metallurgical Industry, the Vocational Skills Identification and Guidance Center of Non-ferrous Metals Industry, the China Gold Association and the Coal Industry Publishing House have given great support and help to the revision of the national skills.
