According to the evaluation results of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization/WHO Joint Expert Committee on Food Additives, the allowable daily intake of this substance is 0-15 mg/kg bw.

Secondly, in terms of technology, the substance is used as a sweetener in new soy products (soy protein and its puffed food, soy vegetarian meat, etc.) (food category 04.04.01.05) to improve product taste. Its quality specification implements "National Food Safety Standard - Food Additive Sucralose" (GB 25531).

With the expansion of the scope of use, sucralose still has the potential to increase slightly in the global synthetic sweetener market share in the next few years. According to statistics compiled by Health.com, in 2021, the total export volume of sucralose in my country will be about 9,733 tons (excluding liquid), and the export value will exceed 300 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 40.4% and 62.2% respectively; On the contrary, the demand has increased significantly (the prices of other synthetic sweeteners are also rising). As a high-polluting industry, sucralose, according to the implementation of the domestic energy consumption double control policy in various parts of the country and supporting policies, some domestic enterprises have stopped production and reduced production. ; Coupled with the difficulty of sucralose newly approved new projects, the industry concentration began to appear.

From January to February 2022, the export volume of sucralose is about 2226 tons, and the average export price exceeds US$48/KG. Compared with the end of last year, the transaction price tends to be stable, and the average price in February is US$46/KG. Among them, the main export enterprises are: Anhui Jinhe, Shandong Kangbao Biochemical, Fujian Kehong Bio, Xinqi'an Technology, Yancheng Jiekang and Nantong Changhai. The export volume of five enterprises accounted for more than 90%; among the exporting countries, the United States accounted for To 33%, followed by Mexico accounted for more than 10%, Brazil, Indonesia, Singapore's market share is also relatively high.
