Food tech company rebrands following $30 million capital raise

According to Food Business News, Food technology company Incredo (formerly DouxMatok) has obtained a round C financing of 30 million US dollars to support research and development and accelerate business cooperation.

In a series of applications, sugar can be reduced by 30% to 50%. Last year, Incredo established partnerships with Battery Foods and Blommer Chocolate Co.

This is a single and powerful brand that will leave an unforgettable impression on our customers as we prepare for sustained growth and commercialization We are pleased to end this round of C-round financing with the joint participation of strong strategic and financial investors. With this funding, Incredo Sugar will be able to provide more people. But most importantly, without affecting taste (the first factor affecting consumer purchases), we provide food companies with an important tool to create delicious and healthier food.”
The C-round is led by DSM Firmenich Venturing and Sienna Venture Capital, with participation from Teseo Capital, Pitango, and BlueRed Partners.

Isabelle Amiel Azoulai, managing partner of Sienna Venture Capital, said, "Incredo has developed one of the most promising innovations in the food industry we have ever seen - a delicious, affordable, and cleanly labeled product that can reduce sugar content in food without adding additives or changing taste.
