Comu announces continued titanium dioxide price increase of US$200 per tonne from May
On March 31, 2022, Comu issued a price increase letter for titanium dioxide, saying that based on the rising energy costs and the tight supply of titanium raw materials, some of Comu's titanium ore raw materials come from Velta in Ukraine, with an annual capacity of about 280,000 tons of titanium ore.
Due to the impact of the war between Russia and Ukraine, the supply of titanium ore from Ukraine is expected to be affected, and it is difficult to have other titanium ore suppliers to fill the vacancy of Comu's titanium raw materials in the short term.

The Company has decided to increase the price of titanium dioxide in Greater China by US$200 per tonne with effect from 1 May 2022.
It is reported that this is not the first time this year that Comu has increased its prices.
On 28 February, Comu issued a price increase letter saying that the price of titanium dioxide in China will increase by US$200 per tonne from 1 April 2022.
