Six restaurants and barbecues in Linyi were closed down

In violation of the provisions of this Law, the supervisory and administrative departments determined by the local people's governments at or above the county level shall order rectification of the newly built, rebuilt and expanded catering service projects that produce fumes, odors and exhaust gases in residential buildings, commercial and residential complex buildings without special flues and commercial and residential complex buildings adjacent to residential floors. If they refuse to make corrections, they shall be closed down and fined not less than 10,000 yuan but not more than 100,000 yuan. On the afternoon of July 20, Vice Mayor Chang Hong Army chaired a conference on promoting the control of cooking fume pollution in central urban areas, demanding strong measures and implementation, and resolutely putting the prevention and control measures of cooking fume pollution into effect.
