Reporters noted that the huge amount of over 5 trillion yuan also makes Guangdong rank first among the provinces that have announced the total economic volume in the first half of the year. But Tianjin and Chongqing have some rare bright spots: although the GDP growth of these two cities has not caught up with the national level (4.6% in Tianjin and 6.2% in Chongqing), they have broken through the trillion mark for the first time in terms of total amount: in the first half of the year, Tianjin's total GDP reached 103.716 billion yuan; Chongqing's total GDP reached 103.3476 billion yuan. Reporters noted that Chongqing, for example, in the first half of the year, fixed assets investment in the city increased by 6.1% compared with the same period last year; in terms of consumption, the total retail sales of social consumer goods in the city in the first half of the year were 426.394 billion yuan, an increase of 8.9% compared with the same period last year, which was 0.5 percentage points higher than the national level...
