Adjustment of Cabot executive management team

Boston - (American Business Information) - Cabot Corp. (New York Stock Exchange Code: CBT) announced an adjustment to its executive management team on October 3. This adjustment aims to streamline the company's organizational structure to support the company's long-term growth strategy. The following organizational restructuring will take effect immediately. Cabot announced that it would adjust its executive management team to support long-term growth. Zhu Ji, senior vice president of Cabot Corporation and President of Asia Pacific region (Jeff Zhu), will be the president of the global high performance materials business, leading the world's special carbon black, gaseous metal oxides and aerogels. Zhu Ji joined Cabot in 2012. He not only has decades of business management experience in the chemical industry, but also brings a global and regional perspective. Zhu also chairs the International Association of Chemical Manufacturers (AICM).
Zhu Ji has many years of chemical industry background and leadership experience, and is a highly respected executive. In response to changes in the market, he shows deep strategic insight, promotes Performance Leadership and strong execution in a changing environment, "said Coshanne, president and CEO of Cabot. "By expanding the business of gas-phase silica and special carbon black in the Asia-Pacific region, he has played an indispensable role in implementing the company's"push core"strategy. His familiarity with these businesses makes him the right person to lead the high-performance materials business and to take on these new responsibilities seamlessly.
In addition, Jay Doubman will resign as Senior Vice President and President of High Performance Materials Business to seek other career development opportunities. Taubojie joined Cabot in 2006. During his tenure, he held several leading positions, including Senior Vice President of Strategic and Business Development and President of Special Fluid Division. Tao Bojie will be in the company until November 15, 2019 to help transfer work.
