Huawei helps energy giants develop the largest distributed solar project in UAE

Phanes group, an international new energy giant headquartered in Dubai, has developed and built the first medium voltage distributed solar energy project in the UAE, all of which adopt Huawei's intelligent photovoltaic solutions. The 25.8-megawatt distributed roof project, built by Dubai global port group, is one of the largest projects launched by Dubai water and Power Authority (dewa) in shams Dubai plan and the largest distributed project in the UAE at present. It consists of different types of roofs, including warehouses, car sheds and commercial buildings. Huawei and phanes group jointly carry out the largest distributed solar energy project in UAE. This project includes more than 88000 solar panels, Huawei sun2000 - (8-40) KTL full series intelligent string inverters, which are installed on more than 60 roofs, including the largest single station roof in UAE (power up to 2.6mw). The project also has 12 Different building types Stefanos lilios, project executive director of oryxsolarsystems solutions, a company under the phanes group, said: this project provides stable power for the Dubai global port group, and Huawei's intelligent string inverter performs well. In particular, these inverters have been connected to the power grid for two years, with zero failure rate. In the extremely high temperature and desert environment, Huawei's intelligent group series inverter operates stably. In addition, with the help of Huawei intelligent management system, phanes group greatly improves the operation and maintenance efficiency and optimizes the power consumption cost of the project "[we are] very honored to work with Huawei on this project," he added. This is a milestone project, which will promote the development of the photovoltaic industry in the UAE. We are very optimistic about the future of the renewable energy industry in the UAE. The Dubai global port group solar energy project uses natural light to produce 35734 megawatt hours of electricity every year and reduce more than 21000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. The project has been officially recognized by the United Nations small solar project activities in the UAE, and has made outstanding contributions to the realization of Dubai's 2030 comprehensive energy strategy and the UAE's 2021 vision.
