On July 5, Clariant announced that it will showcase its functional mineral products for the Chinese civil engineering market at the upcoming 2022 China (Nanjing) International Pipe Network Exhibition, introducing to visitors how Clariant's bentonite solutions are Significantly improve the safety and production efficiency of pipeline network construction, and play an important role in many urbanization and infrastructure development projects in China today.

Li Xiangxian, president of the Northeast Asia business unit of Clariant’s functional minerals business unit, the company’s high-quality bentonite solutions are known for their good waterproof and other functional properties, which can effectively prevent the borehole from collapsing during the horizontal directional drilling construction process, so that the borehole quality can be guaranteed. In the pipe jacking construction, including the difficult rectangular pipe jacking construction process, it can effectively lubricate, support and reduce frictional resistance to ensure the construction quality.
