Lugman Group Exits Acquisition of Clariant's 'Industrial Park Fechenheim'
Clariant announces that the Lugman Group has exercised its rights to exit the transaction for the purchase of the real estate "Industrial Park Fechenheim", which was announced on September 17, 2024, as a result of the exercise of certain pre-emption rights by the City of Frankfurt.
As previously announced, the transaction is expected to generate cash proceeds of EUR 95 million and a book gain of approximately CHF 70 million to the company's EBITDA in 2025.
Clariant remains committed to divesting "Industrial Park Fechenheim", as the company has no operating activities there. The industrial park is located in the east of Frankfurt and covers an area of approximately 428,000 square meters.
