What are the compound used in perfumes

7.Eugenol
This compound has the smell of pennyroyal and as it is common for this compound to have a medicinal odor like anise, it is very good for use in perfume making for others to enjoy the scent. It is used in soaps, detergents, coffees and perfumes. This compound has the characteristic odor of anise and green bell pepper and has a powdery scent at first but when mixed with other compounds it loses that powdery smell to give it a more sweet and vanillic fragrance. It can also be found in ginger, basil, rosemary, thyme leaves, cedar chips etc..

2. Know how long it would take for the compound to dissolve in water.
3. Know the temperature range at which the compound can dissolve in water since some compounds are sensitive to heat and so they need to be stored at a low temperature when heated or cooled quickly.
