China Issues Fourth Set of Fuel Export Quotas Under General Trade

China has issued 3,386kt of refined fuel export quotas under general trade in its fourth batch of quotas. The current round of quotas is down 2,544kt, or 42.9% year-on-year. The export quotas of gasoline, kerosen and diesel are 1,006kt, 720kt and 1,620kt respectively. China National Aviation Fuel is included in the quotas list, besides Sinopec, PetroChina, CNOOC and Sinochem. In the meantime, the export quotas of LNG and aviation gasoline are added in the list. It is expected that more products and more companies will take part in the export of petroleum products.

As of September 19, China has issued seven batch of export quotas of refined oil products, including 3 batches under tolling and 4 batches under general trade. The total quotas under the two trade terms reached 36,566kt. It is said that all of the export quotas for 2017 have been issued, and the 4 batch under tolling may not be issued.
