PPG Closes Acquisition of Michigan Coatings Company
High Road Capital Partners Tuesday said it closed on the sale of a Michigan coatings maker to PPG.
The company purchased by PPG, the Crown Group, makes coatings and finishes for the automotive, truck, construction, agricultural and other markets.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Based in Warren, Mich., Crown Group has about 950 employees and annual sales of $125 million to $150 million.
It has 11 coating facilities.
High Road Capital, a private equity firm, has owned Crown Group for four years with partner Charter Oak Equity.
