Sodium bicarbonate

1. Treat metabolic acidosis. This product increases the concentration of carbonate in plasma and neutralizes hydrogen ions, thereby correcting acidosis. 2. Alkalinize urine. As the pH value increases after the concentration of carbonate in urine increases, uric acid, sulfonamide drugs and hemoglobin are not easy to form crystals or aggregate in urine. 3. Acid antacid. Oral administration can quickly neutralize or buffer gastric acid without directly affecting gastric acid secretion. Therefore, the pH in the stomach increases rapidly to relieve the symptoms caused by high gastric acid.

This product is a compound preparation. Each tablet contains 48 mg of magnesium trisilicate, 24 mg of bismuth subnitrate, 48 mg of sodium bicarbonate, 24 mg of costusroot, 70 mg of tangerine peel, 70 mg of liquorice, 6 mg of calamus, 6 mg of rhubarb, and 0.002 ml of belladonna fluid extract.

This product is white powder or white monoclinic crystal. The specific gravity is 2.15g.

Used for stomach pain, heartburn and acid reflux caused by chronic gastritis and excessive gastric acid.

Oral administration: Adults, 3 to 5 tablets at a time, 3 times a day.

A few patients experience mild gastrointestinal discomfort.

1. It is contraindicated for patients with glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy, urinary retention, appendicitis and acute abdomen. 2. It is contraindicated for patients with fractures and hypophosphatemia.

Precautions for children: Because children often do not accurately describe their symptoms, this drug is generally not recommended for children under 6 years old unless they are under close supervision. When used in combination with adrenocortical hormones (especially those with strong mineralocorticoid effects), adrenocorticotropic hormone, and androgens, hypernatremia and edema are likely to occur. 2. When used in combination with amphetamine and quinidine, the renal excretion of the latter two is reduced, and toxic effects are likely to occur. 3. When used in combination with anticoagulants such as warfarin and M cholinesterase drugs, the absorption of the latter is reduced. 4. When used in combination with calcium-containing drugs, milk and dairy products, milk-alkali syndrome may occur. 5. When used in combination with H2 receptor antagonists such as cimetidine and ranitidine, the absorption of the latter is reduced. 6. When used in combination with potassium-excreting diuretics, the risk of hypochloremic alkalosis is increased. 7. This product can alkalinize the urine and affect the renal excretion of ephedrine, so the dose of ephedrine should be reduced when used in combination. 8.
