Function and Efficacy
Because the thiol group in its chemical structure can break the disulfide bonds of mucin, it can reduce sputum viscosity and make sputum easier to cough up.

The main ingredient is acetylcysteine.
Appearance
This product is orange-yellow fine granules; it tastes sweet.
Indication
Used to treat acute bronchitis, chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis, etc. characterized by excessive viscous secretions.
Usage and Dosage
Before use, add a small amount of warm water to dissolve, mix well and take, or take orally directly. Adults: Oral, 0.2g (as acetylcysteine) three times a day. Children: Oral, 0.1g (as acetylcysteine) two to four times a day, increase or decrease according to age.
Adverse Reactions
1. It has an irritating effect on the respiratory mucosa, so it sometimes causes choking cough or bronchospasm. 2. The aqueous solution has the odor of hydrogen sulfide, which may cause nausea, vomiting, runny nose, gastritis, etc. in some patients. 3. It may occasionally cause hemoptysis.
Precautions
Not suitable for patients with asthma.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: Children must use under adult supervision. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Not yet clear. Precautions for the elderly: Elderly patients with severe respiratory insufficiency should use with caution.
Drug Interactions
1 This product can increase the excretion of gold preparations. 2 It can weaken the antibacterial activity of penicillins, tetracyclines, and cephalosporins. Therefore, this product cannot be used with these drugs. If necessary, it can be used alternately at intervals of 4 hours. However, it has no effect on the absorption of doxycycline, erythromycin, and amoxicillin. 3 This product must not be used in combination with chymotrypsin. 4 This product must not be used with acidic drugs, otherwise the effect of this product may be reduced. 5 If you are taking other medicines, please consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this product.
