Stainless steel polishing powder white fused aluminum oxide 10 microns is made from high-quality alumina by melting above 2000 in the electric arc furnace and cooling. It is white with the main crystal phase alpha-Al2O3. The white alumina produced in titling electric arc furnaces has the advantage of high bulk density and low porosity and good volume stability and thermal shock resistance. As one of the most commonly used corundum in the abrasive industry, White fused alumina has a long history in applications because of its high hardness, good self-sharpening advantages. By adopting high-quality grade materials, a strict quality control system, and developed production technology, HAIXU’s white fused alumina gets high purity, stable quality, and good distribution.

The micro-powder from Haixu Abrasives is acid-washed and gets water pickled, by this process, the white fused alumina powder is with better purity and better grit size distribution.

Q: What is the difference between suspension-treated white fused alumina powder and fine powders?

A: The suspension-treated WFA powder is of even particle size distributions. The white fused alumina fine powder always goes 200#-0,320#-0 produced by milling and gets particle size by mesh sieving.

Q: What are the difference between the FEPA standard and the JIS standard for white aluminum oxide powder?

A: They defined the particle size range with different standards. FEPA standard gets 14 grits from 63um-1 um. While JIS standard gets 19 grits from 63um-1um.

The price of calcined aluminum oxide powder is always lower than fused ones.
