Physical and chemical properties	Atrazine is a triazobenzene selective systemic conduction herbicide. Colorless crystals. The solubility in water is 185mg/L(20 ℃). Soluble in organic solvents. Hydrolysis with strong acid and strong alkali to form 6-hydroxyl body. It has an inhibitory effect on plant photosynthesis and is a selective herbicide. The grass killing effect is rapid, and it can be adsorbed by 0-5cm soil to form a medicine layer, which makes weeds come into contact with the medicine when they germinate. It has the best control effect on newly germinated weeds. Used to control annual field weeds such as crabgrass and Setaria in corn and sugarcane fields.
