Ametryn is a methylthio-1,3,5-triazine that is 2-(methylsulfanyl)-1,3,5-triazine substituted by an ethylamino and an isopropylamino group at positions 4 and 6 respectively. It has a role as a herbicide and an environmental contaminant. It is a diamino-1,3,5-triazine and a methylthio-1,3,5-triazine.

Product uses
At low concentration, atrazine can promote the growth of plants, stimulate the growth of buds and roots, and promote the increase of leaf area and thickening of stem.But at high concentrations, it can exert a strong inhibitory effect on plants.Used for the prevention of banana, citrus, coffee, sugarcane, tea and non-cultivated broadleaf and gramineous hybrid herbicides, used before and after seedling, banana, citrus, coffee, cocoa, corn, oil palm, pineapple, sugarcane, tea, potato and non-cultivated broadleaf and gramineous weeds.
