      Chemical properties: Colorless transparent liquid with special smell. Insoluble in water, soluble in most organic solvents and hydrocarbons. Good compatibility with most industrial resins. Partially compatible with cellulose acetate and polyvinyl acetate. Use: Used as the main plasticizer for plastics, widely used in polyvinyl chloride products. Use: Can be used as a substitute for DOP, especially suitable for plastisol, with good viscosity stability. Use: Used as a gas chromatography fixative and plasticizer. Use: This product is the most widely used plasticizer. In addition to cellulose acetate and polyvinyl acetate, it has good compatibility with most synthetic resins and rubbers used in industry. This product has good comprehensive properties, good mixing performance, high plasticizing efficiency, low volatility, good low-temperature flexibility, water extraction resistance, high electrical properties, good heat resistance and weather resistance. As a main plasticizer, this product is widely used in the processing of various soft polyvinyl chloride products, such as films, sheets, artificial leather, cable materials and molded products. This product is non-toxic and can be used for packaging materials in contact with food, but because it is easily extracted by fat, it is not suitable for fatty food packaging materials. It can also be used in nitrocellulose paint to make the paint film elastic and have high tensile strength. In a variety of synthetic rubbers, this product also has a good softening effect. In addition, DOP is also used as a condensing agent, a friction reducer, an organic solvent, and a gas chromatography stationary liquid. Uses Gas chromatography stationary liquid (maximum operating temperature 150°C solvent is methanol, dichloromethane) Selectively retain and separate aromatic compounds, unsaturated compounds and various oxides (alcohols, aldehydes, ketones and esters, etc.), plasticizers. Production method Plasticizers are used in large quantities and in a wide variety of varieties. The current development trend of plasticizer production technology is, on the one hand, continuous large-scale production of main plasticizers, and on the other hand, intermittent production of multiple varieties and small batches of special plasticizers. The consumption of phthalate plasticizers accounts for about 80% of the total plasticizers, and the production volume is very large, so there has been a continuous large-scale production centered on dioctyl phthalate. Phthalic acid esters are industrially produced by esterification of phthalic anhydride with the corresponding alcohol in the presence of an acidic catalyst such as sulfuric acid or p-toluenesulfonic acid. The amount of acidic catalyst used is generally 0.2-0.5% based on phthalic anhydride. Phthalic anhydride and 2-ethylhexanol (isooctanol) are esterified in the presence of sulfuric acid or non-acidic catalysts such as titanates, stannous oxide, and aluminates. The esterified liquid is neutralized, washed with water, dealcoholized, decolorized, and filtered to obtain the finished product. Raw material consumption quota: phthalic anhydride 383kg/t, 2-ethylhexanol (95%) 671kg/t, sulfuric acid 6kg/t, soda ash 10kg/t
