N-tert-Butyl-2-benzothiazolesulfenamide (Abbr: TBBS / Accelerator NS, CAS: 95-31-8, EINECS: 202-409-1, HS Code: 3812100000) is an off-white to light yellow crystalline powder or granule, a typical delayed-action sulfenamide-type rubber vulcanization accelerator with the molecular formula C₁₁H₁₄N₂S₂. It is soluble in benzene, acetone and chloroform, slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in water, with excellent scorch resistance, fast vulcanization rate and good processing safety.
