Skincare is more and less is more! Clariant launches a minimalist formula
Swiss specialty chemicals and raw materials company Clariant (Clariant) conforms to the minimalist skincare trend, and launched three new skincare formulas inspired by Japanese makeup.
The company discovered this trend among busy urbanites. Rising pressure, narrow space, and heavy skin care steps, such as Korean makeup's 10-step beauty method, make minimalism and multifunctional products increasingly popular.
Charlotte Stricane, active ingredient formulation and concept designer for Clariant, said: "Minimalism has gradually become the mainstream beyond the skin care field, and the trend-setting market will witness more simple and refined products. To meet consumer demand."
In order to chase this trend, Clariant launched a series of Zenspiration (meaning "Zen Spirit") series of formulas, a total of three.
The inspiration for this series comes from Japan, where minimalist skin care has prevailed in recent years. Clariant believes that the basic values of Japanese makeup are "globally popular."
Zenspiration uses Clariant's latest ingredients, including EquiScalp and Rootness Energise. The former is a microbiome-friendly scalp soothing ingredient derived from apple stem cells. The formula added to it is called Simply Rebalancing Scalp Toner, which contains only 16 ingredients and is aimed at sensitive scalp.
The second formula is called Energising Water Milk, which is said to moisturize the skin and prevent premature aging. The formula contains Rootness Energise, which Clariant claims can “activate cells” and enhance skin elasticity and firmness.
The third formula is On-the-Glow solid essence, which is a very practical solid essence stick. The company pointed out that this essence can soothe the skin while balancing skin tone and reducing age spots.
Clariant believes that driven by the new crown epidemic, simple, effective and multifunctional products will have greater market demand.
