A 2,000 t/a project of pesticide intermediates with ¥80 million investment settled in Gansu, China

2022-12-20

Recently, the environmental assessment of Hengye’s 2-Methylsulfonyl-4,6-dimethoxypyrimidine project was published on related website. Hengye plans to reorganize this project which can produce 2000 T/A 2-Methylsulfonyl-4,6-dimethoxypyrimidine with ¥80 million in Gansu.

2-Methylsulfonyl-4,6-dimethoxypyrimidine is white and crystalline. It is the synthetic intermediate of herbicides of Pyrimidine and Salicylic acid, which can make Bispyribac-sodium, Pyrithiobac-sodium and Pyribenzoxim. As a synthetic inhibitor, Pyrithiobac-sodium is used to control annual and perennial broad-leaved weeds and barnyard grass in cotton fields. Bispyribac-sodium is a new super-efficient, broad-spectrum and low-toxicity Sulfonylureas herbicide, which is mainly used to control gramineous weeds and broad-leaved weeds in paddy fields. It is a key development direction in the field of highly effective herbicide in China. Pyribenzoxim is a novel compound, which is effective in controlling various gramineous weeds and broad-leaved weeds such as barnyard grass and qlopecurus myosuroides.

Hengye was established on July 10, 2017, with a registered capital of ¥20 million. The company is located in Gaotai Industrial Park, Gansu Province, and mainly produces and sells chemical products (except hazardous chemicals)
