According to the Federal Register, on January 5, 2023, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued Document 2022-28428, proposing to amend the food additive regulations to approve vitamin D3 as a nutritional supplement Used in breakfast cereals and cereal bars.

 
It is understood that this application was submitted by Kellogg Company, which came into effect on January 5, 2023, and objections need to be submitted by February 6, 2023.
