Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has signed a tolling agreement with Dhamra LNG Terminal Pvt. Ltd. (DLTPL) for booking 3 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of regassification capacity at the latter’s 5-mtpa LNG terminal. The terminal is coming up at Dhamra Port in Odisha. “The LNG terminal at Dhamra would meet the gas requirements of three refineries of IOC in Barauni, Haldia and Paradip. The project will also enable supply of gas to the seven towns of Varanasi, Patna, Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar and Cuttack,” an IOC statement said.
