Jinchuan Group started 20,000 tons of PVDF resin project
June 10, Jinchuan Group 20,000 tons/year high-end PVDF resin industrial chain project (phase I) groundbreaking ceremony was successfully held.

The 20,000 tons/year high-end PVDF resin industry chain project (Phase I) is a joint effort of Jinchuan Group Chemical Company and Jinni Company to concentrate on development, overcome difficulties and overcome breakthroughs, focus on the development needs of Jinchang City's new energy and new energy battery hundreds of billion chemical industry chain, relying on the local rich fluorite resources, integration of Jinchuan Group's existing chemical raw material base, Investment and construction of chemical industry chain extension, chain supplement projects. The product design category includes lithium grade, photovoltaic grade and coating grade products. The first stage production capacity is 10,000 tons/year, which can be applied in the fields of new energy battery separator, photovoltaic backplane film and fluorocarbon coating. After the completion of the project, it is expected to increase its operating revenue by 1.16 billion yuan, profit and tax by 370 million yuan, and create more than 470 new jobs.
Jinchuan Group Co., Ltd. is a world-famous multinational group of mining, selection, smelting, chemical and deep processing combined supporting enterprises. It ranks 339th in the world's top 500 enterprises in 2022, and is the largest producer of nickel, cobalt, platinum group metals and the third largest copper producer in China.
Jinchang Cement (Group) Co., LTD., a first-level holding subsidiary of Jinchuan Group Co., LTD., is the backbone enterprise of cement industry in Gansu Province, and an important production base of building materials and chemical industry in Jinchang area. At present, it has three industrial plates: cement building materials, chlor-alkali chemical industry and ammonia-alkali chemical industry.
It is understood that the two sides respectively build PVC, calcium carbide, acetylene and other supporting projects, build up the Jinchang area PVC, caustic soda, calcium carbide, acetylene chloro-alkali chemical industry chain. After the completion of the integration, the production system of calcium carbide and acetylene will be further integrated into the chlor-alkali chemical industry chain of Jinchuan Group, realize the integrated operation, and become the raw material source of PVC production equipment; The PVC produced in turn drives the linkage between other links of the industrial chain; The recycling industry chain of "acetylene - PVC - calcium carbide slag - gold mud dry cement - underground filling of Jinchuan Group mine" will be fully opened.
