Zhaoke Ophthalmology joins forces with Eyedetec Medical
Recently, Megalo Ophthalmology announced that it has entered into an agreement with Eyedetec Medical,Inc. (" Eyedetec Medical "), a leading medical device company in the United States focused on the treatment of dry eye and meibomian gland dysfunction. Entering into an exclusive licensing, Supply and Distribution Agreement (the "Agreement")
Under the agreement, Mega Eye has been granted exclusive rights by Eyedetec Medical to market in the Greater China region (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan), South Korea and ASEAN countries (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam), "Register, import, promote, distribute, market and sell the Eye Lipid Mobilizer™ (ELM), a medical device for the treatment of dry eye disease."
ELM is a patented medical device that treats moderate to severe dry eye by stabilizing the lipid layer of the eye's tear film. The therapeutic effect is to reduce tear evaporation and promote ocular surface health.
