Bayer launches Delaro Complete for beans in Western Canada
Bayer Cropscience has announced the launch in Western Canada of Delaro Complete (Prothioconazole + Trifloxystrobin + Fluopicolide), a new fungicide for legume crops such as chickpeas and lentils.
Based on Delaro's proven capability for preventive control of the most important legume crop diseases, Delaro Complete has 3 modes of action to provide a higher level of disease control and potential yield protection for legume growers in Western Canada. It also provides an important management tool for lentil and chickpea growers to combat anthrax and leaf spot. The combined Fluopicolide enhances the control of white and grey mold and provides additional residual protection, providing farmers with excellent protection throughout the growing season.
Ashley Smith, Western Market Manager for Crop Protection at Bayer, said: "Delaro Complete provides lentil and chickpea growers with industry-leading defences against yield-impacting diseases such as anthrax and leaf spot, and Bayer is committed to providing growers with innovative tools for advanced disease control and yield protection. We are proud to say that the rollout of Delaro Complete across Western Canada helps further this goal."
Bayer Cropscience expressed that Delaro Complete will be available in 7.1-liter cans and 113.8-liter barrels for the 2024 planting season. For the best results in crop protection for lentils, chickpeas and peas, Delaro Complete is recommended for treatment at the beginning of flowering or at the onset of disease.
