Sumitomo launches Excalia Max in Argentina

Sumitomo Chemical recently launched Excalia Max during the Aapresid Congress.

The product combines a triazole fungicide (Tebuconazole) with a new Formamid fungicide (Indiflin™), which belongs to the class of fungicides known as SDHI. The product has excellent endosorption and conduction activity, long duration, can widely control a variety of rust and spot diseases, suitable for wheat and soybeans, Asian soybean rust and target spot disease, the two most serious soybean diseases have control activities. This innovative solution provides additional performance by protecting the leaf area during the critical period of the crop.

Sumitomo Chemical launched INDIFLIN® containing fungicides in Japan in 2020, followed by launches in the United States, Canada and Paraguay in 2021. Sumitomo Chemical will continue to expand its product line containing INDIFLIN® and develop it into a blockbuster product and growth engine for the company's plant protection business.
