Odele, Pioneering Clean Hair Care Brand, Secures Investment from Patrick Ta Beauty Backer
Stride Consumer Partners, the growth-equity investment firm known for its backing of Patrick Ta Beauty and other successful ventures, has made a minority investment in Odele, a burgeoning indie hair care brand based in the United States.

Hair care brand Odele gains investment from Patrick Ta Beauty backer
Established in 2020 in Minneapolis by Lindsay Holden, Britta Chatterjee, and Shannon Kearney, Odele has positioned itself with a mission to deliver clean and prestigious hair care products at accessible prices. The brand boasts a diverse portfolio of over 20 products, with standout offerings including the Clarifying Shampoo, Dry Shampoo, and Hair Oil. Odele's products are available in major US retailers such as Target, CVS Pharmacy, and Ulta Beauty, as well as through direct-to-consumer channels on odelebeauty.com.

Odele
The undisclosed investment from Stride is set to catalyze growth in key facets of Odele's operations, including marketing, talent acquisition, and product innovation. Lindsay Holden, co-founder of Odele, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, "We are beyond excited to partner with Stride. Their team is deeply knowledgeable, and their collaboration has left us inspired and confident that they are the right partner to help us continue this momentum and reach our ambition for Odele."
The funding infusion aligns with Odele's commitment to building a lasting brand that stands the test of time. Britta Chatterjee, another founder, emphasized the importance of Stride's understanding of Odele's vision, business philosophy, and shared commitment to people and the planet.
Nicole Fourgoux, Stride's Operating Partner, praised Odele for pushing boundaries in clean performance hair care. She noted that Odele's focus on accessible, performance-first clean formulas has the potential to make a significant impact in the modern marketplace.

Odele Beauty
Stride's track record in the beauty industry includes investments in well-known brands like First Aid Beauty, Tatcha, and Skin Fix. In the previous year, the firm backed Patrick Ta Beauty, leveraging its expertise to drive brand growth and expand distribution channels, notably at Sephora.
As Odele continues its journey in the clean hair care space, the partnership with Stride positions the brand for further innovation, reach, and sustainability in an industry increasingly prioritizing performance and accessibility in beauty formulations.
