Adama introduced Maxentis in Canada as a combination of Prothioconazole and Azoxystrobin

Recently, Adama Canada has announced the launch of Maxentis fungicide (Prothioconazole + Azoxystrobin) for use in local beans and canola to combat three specific crop diseases: anthrax, Southern blight and leaf spot.

Maxentis fungicide is registered for lentils, oilseed rape, soybeans and peas, where it performs well in its category and has a long-lasting control effect. According to Adama, the Maxentis treatment resulted in a significant increase in crop yields, particularly in the complete control of lentil anthrax, which is not sensitive to the active ingredient of Group 11 fungicides. The fungicide enables growers to spray faster and more effectively on a wide variety of crops and at multiple stages of plant growth and disease development.

In addition, Adama's Asorbital 2 formulation technology enhances the efficacy of the active ingredients Prothioconazole and Azoxystrobin, promoting their endosorption and transsorption activity, allowing them to spread throughout the plant even when sprayed on dense canopy for a longer, more comprehensive coverage.
