Syngenta registered a new Fluxapyroxad fungicide in the United States
Syngenta today announced that its Posterity® XT fungicide has been made available in California for use on golf courses in the state to combat more than 20 lawn diseases, including common diseases such as fairy ring and banded sclerotial blight.
Posterity® XT contains three main active ingredients, Fluxapyroxad, Azoxystrobin and Propiconazole, all of which belong to different FRAC groups, providing a new tool for resistance management of turf diseases. According to Syngenta's technical services manager, Posterity ® XT can be rotated with other trusted products such as Ascernity® fungicides to achieve residual control of turf diseases and help combat the problem of resistance.
Since 2020, Posterity® XT fungicides have been extensively studied and applied nationwide and are widely recognized for their excellence in disease control. Especially in California, the product has proven to be an effective tool for treating diseases such as fairy ring, banded sclerotial blight, and anthrax.
