MAN Industries receives approval from Shell for global steel pipe coatings
MAN Industries India Limited conducted a rigorous technical assessment of the coating plant in Anjal, Gujarat and conducted performance testing of external, internal and concrete coatings for steel pipes, which was also confirmed by Shell Global Solutions International Limited, and has adopted its Design and Engineering Approval Practice (DEP).
- 3-layer polyethylene outer coating for buried and submerged line pipe
- Anti-floating concrete coating on the outer surface of buried steel pipes
- Liquid epoxy internal coating for non-corrosive gas transmission lines in compliance with ISO 15741-2016.
Approval from Shell Global Solutions International BV will demonstrate compliance with quality standards, reduce risk and optimize performance.
