DKSH to distribute KRONOS titanium dioxide pigments for coatings in four countries
DKSH's Performance Materials business unit will provide distribution services for the KRONOS TiO 2 pigment range for coatings and plastics applications in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and the Philippines. DKSH will also provide business development, marketing, sales and logistics services for KRONOS' TiO2 pigments.
TiO 2 from KRONOS is a white pigment that plays a key role in the production of paints and coatings, plastics, paper and fibers. It also plays a vital role in professional fields such as cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, glass and ceramics.
KRONOS has appointed DKSH to develop its specialty chemicals business in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and the Philippines. They follow successful partnerships in Portugal since 2017 and in Spain since 2015. This is due to DKSH's extensive distribution network, strong marketing and sales capabilities, and logistics capabilities in the region.
Alessandro Pedemonte, Vice President of Sales at KRONOS MEAA said:"We are pleased to build on the collaboration established in Europe and further expand into the Asia-Pacific region, where DKSH has long been a leader in industrial chemicals distribution. We are confident that this expanded partnership will generate mutual and sustainable growth for both companies in these four countries."
Atul Nagarkar, Vice President, Global Specialty Chemicals Industry, DKSH said:" We are excited to expand our partnership with KRONOS to four new markets in Asia Pacific. KRONOS offers titanium dioxide products designed to provide superior and long-lasting performance in a variety of applications. Leveraging DKSH's strong distribution network and value-added services, we will be able to expand the growth and market share of its TiO2 pigments in four key markets."
