KRAHN Chemie Benelux signs distribution agreement with Mitsubishi Chemical Europe

Specialty chemicals distributor KRAHN Chemie Benelux has entered into a new collaboration with Mitsubishi Chemical Europe (MCE) to expand its portfolio to include a range of innovative products.

Under the agreement, KRAHN Chemie Benelux will distribute MCE’s range of premium products, including products such as BENEBiOL, a class of biomass-based polycarbonate diols that enable end products to have unique performance levels such as excellent stain and chemical resistance and superior soft touch.

The agreement also includes BioPTMG, a polyol made from bio-based raw materials. BioPTMG and BENEBiOL are used in a variety of high-end polyurethane applications such as adhesives, coatings, TPUs, sealants, elastomers and fibers. Typical application areas include artificial leather, consumer goods/electronics, automotive, apparel, high-end fashion, functional textiles and industrial.
