The Oriental Yuhong North America New Base Project: Completion by 2025, Expected to Create 100 Jobs, and Revenue from Overseas Increased by 185% in Three Years!

Oriental Yuhong Waterproofing Technology Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Oriental Yuhong") held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new production research and development logistics base in Houston in Prairie View, Texas, USA.

The ceremony was attended by nearly 100 government officials, partners and community representatives from Prairie View, including Prairie View A&M University, the Small Business Development Center, LyondellBasell Industries, ExxonMobil, Kraussmaffei, BASF, Bowen Brown Architects and others, who witnessed this important moment.

Oriental Yuhong's new production, R&D and logistics facility in Houston is located in the Prairieville Industrial Park. The first phase of the project, which includes the construction of a thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) waterproof membrane production line and a North American research and development center, is expected to be completed in 2025 and is expected to create approximately 100 jobs for the local community.

The second phase of the project will focus on the construction of thermal insulation, sand powder and pipe production lines and plants to expand capacity and business scope. After the project is completed and put into operation, Oriental Yuhong will further focus on the production of waterproof materials and mortar powder, explore the development of sales channels, and join hands with partners to create a new chapter of mutual benefit and win-win.

This year, Oriental Yuhong has actively promoted the internationalization process and frequently taken important actions. In March, the sales team of Oriental Yuhong Overseas Strategy Group in Vietnam signed agency cooperation agreements with 11 local enterprises; In June, Oriental Yuhong signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Zhongwan Steel Structure (Cambodia) Investment Co., Ltd. to support Cambodia's energy transition and sustainable development.

On August 9, Oriental Yuhong Overseas Strategic Development Group and TOA Group of Thailand signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) strategic cooperation agreement, the two sides will carry out extensive and fruitful cooperation in the Thai building materials market, and jointly commit to meet the needs of the Thai market and promote the sustainable development of the building materials industry.

In addition, Oriental Yuhong held a new product launch conference in Malaysia, and made an appearance at the 23rd International Architecture, Interior Design and Architecture Exhibition. At the same time, Oriental Yuhong hosted a seminar of China studies experts from eight Belt and Road countries, including Nigeria, Cameroon, Afghanistan, Bulgaria, Ethiopia and Cuba. Actively promote international exchanges and cooperation, and help China's building materials industry to enter the global stage.

In recent years, Oriental Yuhong has adhered to the strategy of giving priority to the development of overseas markets, promoted international strategic layout such as international scientific research, overseas warehousing, overseas investment and mergers and acquisitions, overseas factory construction, overseas talent training, and overseas channel expansion, and realized diversified business models such as overseas engineering, trade, and retail.

Testing, the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) standard testing, the French VOC label the highest environmental protection level A+ level standard, further enhance the international frontier technology strength.

In terms of business layout, Oriental Yuhong has set up overseas companies or offices in Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Canada, the United States and other countries, laying a solid foundation for consolidating overseas business development and expanding overseas market space. Up to now, Oriental Yuhong's high-quality products have been exported to Germany, Brazil, Australia, the United States, Canada, Russia, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Central Africa, South Africa and other more than 100 countries and regions.

So far, Oriental Yuhong's overseas layout has begun to show results. According to the 2023 annual report data, Oriental Yuhong's 2023 operating income in other countries or regions reached 702.8 million yuan, an increase of 54.04%. According to the longitudinal comparison of overseas data, the overseas revenue in 2020 is 246.7 million yuan, and the performance has increased by 185% in the past three years.
