Invest 10 million dollars! PPG will build a new paint production line

PPG recently announced a $10 million investment in a 82,000 square foot new facility and class A paint production line at its paint service plant in Greenville, South Carolina.
The expansion project is scheduled to be completed in August 2019 to meet the demand for grade A paint applications and value-added services in the automotive and large truck markets. Class A coatings include coatings used on surfaces that are easily visible or touched by customers, such as covers and door skins. Jeff Oravitz, Vice President of PPG Paint Services, said: "The expansion of the Greenville plant will help us grow with our customers in this important location." "Increasing electrophoretic coating, labeling, light assembly, packaging and transportation capabilities, and other value-added solutions will be invaluable for customers who want to simplify processes, save time and reduce logistics costs. PPG will continue to provide a variety of one-stop services to provide customers with excellent solutions. "
Greenville Factory opened in 2013 as a special coating service agency for OEM and first-class suppliers. In 2015, the plant was expanded to include after-sales market packaging and pendulum sealing services, a process used by the automotive industry to connect internal and external sealing plates. The factory specializes in electrophoresis (electronic coating) services. It is a leader in class A coating applications on aluminium and galvanized substrates and is suitable for domestic and overseas markets. Coatings Services Group of PPG is the industry leader in protecting coatings applications, providing services to customers in the United States and around the world. The group spans eight countries in several locations and consistently provides high-quality, innovative and sustainable solutions for various industries, including agriculture, household appliances, automobiles, computers, construction equipment, electrical components, furniture, industrial equipment, entertainment, trucks and buses, and alternative energy sources.
