China Chemical Announces 98.89 Billion Yuan 2025 Investment Plan with Major Overseas Milestones
On June 21, China National Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd. (China Chemical) released its 2024 Annual Shareholders’ Meeting materials, unveiling a 2025 investment plan totaling 98.89 billion yuan. The plan includes 71.21 billion yuan for fixed asset projects and 27.68 billion yuan for equity investments.
In a significant development, during the China-Central Asia Summit, China Chemical International and Donghua Company signed a cooperation agreement with Kazakhstan Gas Research Institute to develop Kazakhstan’s first coal-to-gas project. This milestone project strengthens China-Kazakhstan clean energy cooperation and demonstrates the growing strategic partnership between the two nations.
Meanwhile, China Chemical Tianchen Engineering Corporation recently commenced construction of Indonesia’s first soda ash project, a 300,000-ton-per-year facility for Pupuk Kaltim Company. Classified as a national priority project, it marks the first implementation of China’s Hou’s alkali process technology in Indonesia.
