LANXESS Asia Pacific Application Development Center opened in Shanghai

Recently, LANXESS held the opening ceremony of the LANXESS Asia Pacific Application Development Center at the International New Chemical Materials Innovation Center in Shanghai Chemical Industry Park. The new center integrates the R&D projects of LANXESS’s polymer additives, lubricant additives and polyurethane systems business units, which greatly improves the company’s local innovation capabilities.

Chang Mutian, Chairman of the LANXESS Group Management Board, said that the opening of the development center is an important milestone in the history of LANXESS’s development in China. China business is the core of LANXESS' global strategy. China is a country full of opportunities. LANXESS is always seeking new ways to support and participate in the development and prosperity of China.

Qian Mingcheng, President of LANXESS Asia Pacific, said: “The LANXESS Asia Pacific Application Development Center is the first project to settle in the Shanghai International Chemical New Material Innovation Center.
