Foreign giants announced that the titanium dioxide market in the third quarter may be positive
Opened in June, the titanium dioxide price market continues to maintain a high level of operation. There have been Chemours, Tronox, Panzhihua Titanium Chemical Co., Ltd., Panzhihua Tianlun Chemical Co., Ltd., Hunan Chuangda Yutu Chemical Co., Ltd., etc. Domestic and foreign manufacturers have simultaneously announced increases, ranging from US$200 to US$225/ton and US$600-800/ton. Manufacturers have received full orders in June, and their spot inventory positions are still low. In addition, large-scale miners in Panxi have increased by 50. CNY/ton, the cost of raw materials such as titanium concentrates continues to boost. Regardless of whether it is supported from the domestic and foreign market environment or from the upstream raw materials, the conditions for the continued rise of titanium dioxide are sufficient.
At the beginning of the third quarter, international producers such as Chemours, Tronox, Kronos, and Venator all had an increase of US$200 to US$300/ton. International producers are in the Asia-Pacific region. The atmosphere of the region is contrasted. This is bound to lay a good foundation for the traditional peak season of "Golden Nine and Silver Ten" in the third quarter of China, and there is a sense of "I will rise first, you are free and easy".
Yan TITANIUM industry analyst Yang Xun pointed out that from a macro perspective, the U.S. dollar is over-issued by 30% to increase inflation, and the world is paying for it. It is not surprising that Titanium Dioxide has risen to today's price level. The future reasonable price range of titanium dioxide (Manufacturers have money to make money, and the downstream prices are more comfortable to accept) It may be at a high level. In fact, the downstream sales are in the low season for nearly 2 to 3 months. It is not because the price of titanium dioxide is too high. It is just that the transmission to the downstream needs to be digested periodically. Once the process goes through, you will be "remonstrative". Accept the current price.
Yang Xun added that in recent years, foreign trade exports have been an important domestic food channel. However, nowadays, high sea freight rates, hard-to-find cabinets, shortage of storage positions, and appreciation of the renminbi have put pressure on exports. Small exporters have given up titanium dioxide exports for a short period of time. The overall order volume shrinks, and the price market also needs to breathe.
At present, the titanium dioxide trading market is still very confrontational, and the price market is in a state of gaming. High-priced titanium dioxide forces end customers to try alternatives. For example, the three functional calcium carbonates launched by OMYA can reduce the consumption of titanium dioxide by 10%~20%. The three functional calcium carbonates are originally produced in Indonesia, especially in the paint, architectural coatings, powder coatings and ink industries. The application effect is very good.
Yang Xun pointed out that manufacturers control the supply of goods and are more powerful. The supply of agents can be basically guaranteed, and there are also reductions and supply reductions. This has aggravated the tightness of the terminal market. Holders of 200~300 CNY/ton should be screened. The tighter the spot, the more cautious it is to trade.
At present, the mainstream quotations of most domestic sulfuric acid rutile and anatase titanium dioxides are between 19,800 and 21,000 CNY/ton and 18,300 and 19,000 CNY/ton. Domestic and imported chlorinated rutile titanium dioxide are distinguished by use. The price ranges from 22,500 to 24,000 CNY/ton and 27,500 to 29,000 CNY/ton (the above are the cash out-of-warehouse prices including tax).
At present, the domestic Titanium Dioxide price market is firm, and Yang Xun believes that the confrontation between supply and demand is obvious. The domestic and foreign market environment and the support of upstream raw materials have sufficient conditions for manufacturers to continue to rise; foreign trade exports are under heavy pressure, domestic demand has entered the off-season, and downstream procurement is beginning to show weakness. During the critical period of price, only the two anatase manufacturers in Panzhihua made the "two shots" profitable. Longqi has not yet given a clear indication of the price trend. Other manufacturers wait and see for the time being, and the spot supply is still insufficient. The price market Basically maintain a high position for the time being stable.
Yang Xun said that after this off-season moment, the peak season is bound to usher in blooming flowers. In the short term, the market under confrontational emotions is mainly about being firm and conserving. Waiting for the new price policy of large enterprises next week, the actual order price will be negotiated based on the spot situation.
