Huntsman increases polyurethane catalyst and specialty amine production capacity in Hungary plant
Huntsman announced on August 31 that it plans to further expand the production capacity of its Petfurdo plant in Hungary to meet the growing demand for polyurethane catalysts and specialty amines. This multi-million dollar investment project is expected to be completed in mid-2023.
Huntsman is one of the world's leading amine catalyst manufacturers, with more than 50 years of production experience in the field of polyurethane chemicals. These specialty amines are used in the manufacture of daily necessities, such as car seat foams, mattresses, and energy-saving spray foam insulation for buildings.
