Experts say that Norovirus in Hunan Province can be controlled and cured

The outbreak of vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea and other symptoms occurred on the 19th day in Sidu Central Primary School of Guidong County, Hunan Province. It was confirmed that the outbreak of infectious diarrhea caused by Norovirus had excluded food poisoning. At present, the patient's condition is stable.
Journalist learned from the Propaganda Department of Guidong County Committee on April 21 that the expert group of Chenzhou Center for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed that the incident was an infectious diarrhea caused by Norovirus and that food poisoning had been ruled out based on clinical manifestations, field epidemiological investigation and laboratory tests. As of 12 o'clock on April 21, there were 14 students who remained, all of whom were in stable condition. After the incident happened, the county Party committee government immediately launched emergency response, orderly organization of diagnosis and treatment, and experts from relevant departments jointly carried out investigation and epidemic situation disposal. The Expert Group believes that the county's pre-emergency response and disposal work is scientific, orderly and effective.
Disease control experts pointed out that Norovirus infectious diarrhea is a common intestinal infectious disease, the most common symptoms are diarrhea and vomiting, which can be prevented, controlled and curable, so we need not worry about it. It is reported that under the guidance of experts, the county will further strengthen health education in schools, popularize Norovirus prevention knowledge to students and parents, and disinfect teaching buildings, canteens, dormitories and surrounding environment.
