CPI rose 2.7% in June from a year earlier, the same increase as last month

In June 2019, consumer prices rose by 2.7% compared with the same period last year, and in June 2019, the national consumer prices rose by 2.7% compared with the same period last year. Among them, urban and rural prices rose by 2.7%, food prices rose by 8.3%, non-food prices rose by 1.4%, consumer prices rose by 3.2%, service prices rose by 1.8%. In the first half of the year, the consumer price of the whole country rose by 2.2% compared with the same period last year. In June, the consumer price of the whole country dropped by 0.1% annually. Among them, the city declined by 0.1%, the countryside by 0.2%, the food price by 0.3%, the non-food price by 0.1%, the consumer price by 0.2%, and the service price by 0.1%.
1. Various commodities and services prices changed year-on-year. In June, food, tobacco and alcohol prices rose 6.1% year-on-year, affecting CPI (consumer price index) by about 1.79 percentage points. Among them, fresh fruit prices rose 42.7%, affecting CPI by about 0.71 percentage points; livestock prices rose 14.4%, affecting CPI by about 0.59 percentage points (pork prices rose 21.1%, affecting CPI by about 0.45 percentage points); poultry prices rose 7.4%, affecting CPI by about 0.09 percentage points; egg prices rose 6.1%, shadow. Sound CPI rose by about 0.03 percentage points; fresh vegetable prices rose by 4.2%, affecting CPI by about 0.10 percentage points; grain prices rose by 0.6%, affecting CPI by about 0.01 percentage points; aquatic products prices fell by 0.5%, affecting CPI by about 0.01 percentage points. Prices of the other seven categories rose and fell one year over the same period. Among them, the prices of other goods and services, health care, education, culture and entertainment rose by 2.7%, 2.5% and 2.4%, clothing, housing, daily necessities and services rose by 1.8%, 1.6% and 0.8%, respectively, while the prices of transportation and communication decreased by 1.9%.
2. Ring-to-ring price changes of various commodities and services. In June, food, tobacco and alcohol prices fell by 0.2%, affecting CPI by about 0.05 percentage points. Among them, the price of fresh vegetables dropped by 9.7%, affecting CPI by about 0.25 percentage points; the price of eggs dropped by 2.6%, affecting CPI by about 0.01 percentage points; the price of aquatic products dropped by 0.9%, affecting CPI by about 0.02 percentage points; the price of fresh fruits rose by 5.1%, affecting CPI by about 0.11 percentage points; the price of livestock and meat rose by 2.2%, affecting CPI. Pork prices rose by about 0.10 percentage points (pork prices rose by 3.6%, affecting CPI by about 0.09 percentage points); poultry prices rose by 0.7%, affecting CPI by about 0.01 percentage points.
The other seven categories of prices rose three times and fell two times. Among them, the prices of other goods and services and medical care rose by 0.6% and 0.3% respectively; the prices of transportation and communications, clothing, daily necessities and services decreased by 0.7%, 0.1% and 0.1% respectively; and the prices of housing, education, culture and entertainment remained the same.
