Nanchang Customs announced that Jiangxi Brothers Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has become the first approved exporter under RCEP in Jiangxi Province after the approval of Nanchang Customs.
Brother Pharma is mainly engaged in the production of pharmaceutical vitamin B3, vitamin B5, flavors and fragrances, and pharmaceutical raw materials. The annual production capacity of nicotinamide is 8,000 tons, and the annual production capacity of niacin (vitamin B3) is 3,000 tons. The overall vitamin production capacity ranks among the top among similar companies in the world. 3, mainly exported to Europe, America, South Korea, Japan, India, Malaysia and other countries. "Our company has to apply for more than 60 export certificates of origin from the customs every year. After becoming an approved exporter, it is more convenient to enjoy the RCEP tariff concessions. When exporting, there is no need to apply for the certificate of origin to the customs one by one, and arrange the production and production of goods. Exports are more flexible," said Wei Zhengyi, deputy general manager of Brother Pharmaceuticals.
In view of the characteristics of large export volume of enterprise products, high requirements for export customs clearance, and high overlap between exporting countries and RCEP countries. Jiujiang Customs, a subsidiary of Nanchang Customs, combined with the practice activity of "I do practical things for the masses", made every effort to promote the "No. 1 Project" to optimize and upgrade the business environment, and actively promoted the approved exporter system and RCEP tariff reduction policy to key enterprises such as Brother Pharmaceuticals. Guide enterprises to make full use of RCEP and existing free trade agreement tax reduction arrangements, rationally deploy industrial chains and supply chains, and realize industrial transformation and upgrading.
It is reported that RCEP member countries and Jiangxi Province have a large share of trade in goods, and are highly complementary in economic and trade. The person in charge of the Nanchang Customs Tariff Department said that he will continue to increase the promotion of tariff concessions and rules of origin under RCEP, open up special service channels for benefiting enterprises, and quickly go through the procedures for the certification of approved exporters for enterprises that meet the requirements.
