Health Asia & Pharma Asia 2017: Seek Potential and Opportunities in Pakistan

The 13th Health Asia & Pharma Asia 2017 International Exhibition & Conferences is held from August 22 to 24, 2017 at Karachi Expo Centre. The Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair is present at the opening ceremony and cut the ribbon for this exhibition.

Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair said yesterday that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would have positive effects on health sector of Pakistan as well as Sindh province and vowed that the government was ready to organize more such international conferences in the country in the future.

The three-day event is organized by Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd in collaboration with Federal & Provincial Ministries of Health, Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PPMA), Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) and others. The governor said that restoration of peace in Karachi is the top most priority of the government, but unfortunately, some elements were trying to destabilize the peaceful atmosphere of the city. He said that the positive image of the metropolis could be built in the world by organising international exhibitions and conferences in the city. 

Over 450 foreign delegates from 25 countries including China, India, Singapore, France, Germany, Taiwan, UK, UAE, USA, Japan, Korea, Italy and others are participating in the event. The event incorporates seminars, workshops, conference on pharmaceutical best practices, anesthesia, radiology, cardiac surgery, ENT ,neurology, maternal health, dermatology , tobacco control , basic life support and stress management. A considerable number of foreign dignitaries are schedule to be speakers at these events. Health Asia is a premier health sector event that encompasses all the major industries including pharma and healthcare manufacturers, medical & surgical equipments/ instruments providers, medical institution, hospitals labs, pharmaceutical products, raw material supplies and allied services under one roof.

Today, Kevin Yu, the co-founder of ECHEMI, brought the ECHEMI team to 13th Pharma Asia 2017. Kevin Yu also attended the ribbon cutting ceremony at Pharma Asia.

This time, ECHEMI takes three Chinese companies (Henan ZT League Chemical Co., Ltd.; Shijiazhuang Zexing Amino Acid Co., Ltd.; Shandong Kunda Biotechnology Co., Ltd.) to this exhibition, which is a good chance for them to know suppliers and choose their needs directly. Kevin Yu expresses that ECHEMI focuses on the immense potential in pharmaceutic area and seek opportunities to promote industrial cooperation and prospective joint ventures among local and foreign partners.
