Eclampsia
Eclampsia is a special manifestation of "pregnancy-induced hypertension syndrome" (abbreviated as PIH) after 20 weeks of pregnancy, including edema, hypertension and proteinuria. It is especially serious and urgent in the late pregnancy, characterized by convulsions and coma, and may be complicated by renal failure, heart failure, pulmonary edema, intracranial hemorrhage, early placental abruption, etc. Preeclampsia is a stage before convulsions, accompanied by headache, dizziness, blurred vision, upper abdominal discomfort, nausea and other symptoms on the basis of PIH, indicating that eclampsia is about to occur.
