Appearance
This product is a colorless or almost colorless clear liquid.
Indication
Used for replenishing and adjusting water and electrolytes in cases of dehydration and before and after surgery.
Usage and Dosage
Intravenous drip: Adults: 500-1000ml at a time. 300-500ml per hour (about 80-130 drops per minute). Children: 50-100ml per hour. The amount can be increased or decreased according to age, weight and symptoms.
Adverse Reactions
When large amounts of the drug are administered rapidly, cerebral edema, pulmonary edema, peripheral edema, and hyperkalemia may occur.
Precautions
1. Patients with hyperlactacidemia are contraindicated. 2. Patients with abnormal electrolyte metabolism, such as hyperkalemia (oliguria, Addison's disease, severe burns, hyperazotemia, etc.), hypocalcemia, hyperphosphatemia (hypoparathyroidism, etc.), and hypermagnesemia (hypothyroidism, etc.) are contraindicated.
Drug Interactions
It will produce precipitation when encountering calcium ions. Do not use it with calcium-containing medicines.
