Description
It is an ester of 2-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-methylbutyric acid and alpha-cyano-3-phenoxybenzyl alcohol but lacks a cyclopropane ring. However, in terms of its insecticidal behaviour, it belongs to the pyrethroid insecticides. Technical grade fenvalerate is a yellow or brown viscous liquid having a specific gravity of 1.175 at 25°C. The vapour pressure is 0.037 mPa at 25°C, and it is relatively non-volatile. It is practically insoluble in water (approximately 2 μg/L) but soluble in organic solvents s

Fenvalerate Use and Manufacturing
Broad-spectrum, efficient and fast pyrethroids. Mainly used for contact killing and stomach poisoning, no systemic effect, ineffective against mites, effective against lepidopteran larvae, orthoptera, hemiptera, dipteran pests, used to control cotton aphids, leafhoppers, and bugs , Leaf roller, Pieris rapae, Soybean heartworm, Wheat armyworm, Red bollworm, Helicoverpa armigera, Citrus leaf miner larvae, the recommended dosage is 20% EC to 2000 times water spray. Be careful not to use it near mulberry fields, fish ponds, and bee farms. The cotton aphid and cotton bollworm that have developed resistance should be stopped. It is widely used for the prevention and control of crops such as cotton, tea trees, vegetables, soybeans, forestry, animal husbandry, and sanitary pests. It is a broad-spectrum and highly effective insecticide used to control pests of cotton, vegetables, fruit trees, rice, corn, soybeans, tobacco and other crops.
